Surgery fund for Svetlana: gallbladder removal in Moscow
After a thyroid nodule that needs removal, Svetlana was cleared for gallbladder removal, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Svetlana was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in August. The surgeon at Moscow Regional Medical Center recommended gallbladder removal, and She is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,850, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,700 short.
my wife has been in and out of Moscow Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,850 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Svetlana struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Svetlana won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $800
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $670
• Travel and lodging for the family: $150
• Post-operative medication: $80
With deep gratitude,
