Surgery fund for Shelly-Ann: a craniotomy in Spanish Town
After gallstones with repeated infections, Shelly-Ann was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Shelly-Ann was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in February. The surgeon at Saint Mary Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,500, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,250 short.
my sister has been in and out of Saint Mary Hospital since February. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Shelly-Ann struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Shelly-Ann won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
