In March I was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly. My surgeon at Saint Luke Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for June. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $3,150, and after what my insurance will pay, I'm still $1,900 short.
