Surgery fund for Sébastien: hip replacement surgery in Rennes
After a benign brain tumor, Sébastien was cleared for hip replacement surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Sébastien was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in May. The surgeon at Rennes General Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,750, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $2,850 short.
my son has been in and out of Rennes General Hospital since May. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Sébastien struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Sébastien won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $310
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $270
• Physiotherapy sessions: $360
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $1,800
• Post-operative medication: $110
