Sarah was diagnosed with a hernia that has become strangulated in August. The surgeon at Madina University Hospital recommended septoplasty, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,250, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,350 short.

While we wait, Sarah struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Sarah won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
