Surgery fund for Sabina: laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in Kathmandu
A scheduled laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in February is out of reach without help covering $1,250 of the cost.

Sabina was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in December. The surgeon at Kathmandu University Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for February. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,550, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,250 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Kathmandu University Hospital since December. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,550 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Sabina struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Sabina won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $60
• Physiotherapy sessions: $100
• Post-operative medication: $40
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $540
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $510
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
