Surgery fund for Ruslan: gallbladder removal in Moscow
Ruslan needs gallbladder removal at Moscow Regional Medical Center and the family is $2,400 short of the hospital's estimate.

Ruslan was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in June. The surgeon at Moscow Regional Medical Center recommended gallbladder removal, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,800, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $2,400 short.
my son has been in and out of Moscow Regional Medical Center since June. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,800 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ruslan struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Ruslan won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
