Surgery fund for Ronnie: cataract surgery in Quezon City
After a benign brain tumor, Ronnie was cleared for cataract surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Ronnie was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Quezon City Regional Medical Center recommended cataract surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $930, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $700 short.
my son has been in and out of Quezon City Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $930 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ronnie struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Ronnie won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $700 goes:
• Physiotherapy sessions: $85
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $50
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $565
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
