Surgery fund for Rohit: a craniotomy in Aurangabad
Rohit needs a craniotomy at Aurangabad General Hospital and the family is $350 short of the hospital's estimate.

Rohit was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in December. The surgeon at Aurangabad General Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for March. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $440, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $350 short.
my son has been in and out of Aurangabad General Hospital since December. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $440 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Rohit struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Rohit won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $350 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $60
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $240
• Travel and lodging for the family: $35
• Post-operative medication: $15
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Keep going, Rani. Wishing Rohit a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
