Regina was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in August. The surgeon at Zapopan General Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,150, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $2,200 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Zapopan General Hospital since August. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,150 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Regina struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Regina won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
