In May I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. My surgeon at Cần Thơ University Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for August. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,450, and after what my insurance will pay, I'm still $1,100 short.
Doctors at Cần Thơ University Hospital told me a benign brain tumor will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. I work as a warehouse packer, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $1,450 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a warehouse packer have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. I'll not be able to lift anything heavy during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Phúc.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. surgeon and anesthesia fees comes first ($410) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
