Surgery fund for Oliver: ACL reconstruction in Rochester
After a cleft palate needing repair, Oliver was cleared for ACL reconstruction, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Oliver was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in January. The surgeon at Saint Matthew Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,400, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $3,300 short.
my husband has been in and out of Saint Matthew Hospital since January. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Oliver struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Oliver won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. pre-operative tests and imaging comes first ($390) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
