Surgery fund for Nimra: ACL reconstruction in Lahore
After an aortic valve defect, Nimra was cleared for ACL reconstruction, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Nimra was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in February. The surgeon at Lahore Community Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,250, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $950 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Lahore Community Hospital since February. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Nimra struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Nimra won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $950 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $470
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $240
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $70
• Post-operative medication: $30
• Physiotherapy sessions: $105
• Travel and lodging for the family: $35
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope it all works out, Sumbal. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. God bless.
Sending strength. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Lahore.
