Surgery fund for Neha: ACL reconstruction in Mysuru
After a hip fracture that never healed properly, Neha was cleared for ACL reconstruction, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Neha was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in August. The surgeon at Mysuru Community Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,750, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,050 short.
my sister has been in and out of Mysuru Community Hospital since August. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Neha struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Neha won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $400
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $450
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $50
• Post-operative medication: $55
• Physiotherapy sessions: $50
• Travel and lodging for the family: $45
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
