Surgery fund for Nasser: ACL reconstruction in Grenoble
After an aortic valve defect, Nasser was cleared for ACL reconstruction, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Nasser was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in June. The surgeon at Grenoble Orthopedic Institute recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $5,350 short.
my brother has been in and out of Grenoble Orthopedic Institute since June. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Nasser struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Nasser won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
