Surgery fund for Musa: laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in Lagos
A scheduled laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in January is out of reach without help covering $800 of the cost.

Musa was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in November. The surgeon at Lagos Community Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and He is scheduled for January. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,150, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $800 short.
my husband has been in and out of Lagos Community Hospital since November. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,150 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Musa struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Musa won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $800 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $250
• Travel and lodging for the family: $70
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $480
Thank you so much.
