Surgery fund for Michael: ACL reconstruction in Kumasi
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in October is out of reach without help covering $1,000 of the cost.

Michael was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in July. The surgeon at Kumasi Regional Medical Center recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,350, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,000 short.
my husband has been in and out of Kumasi Regional Medical Center since July. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,350 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Michael struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Michael won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
