Surgery fund for Mason: ACL reconstruction in Southampton
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in June is out of reach without help covering $6,600 of the cost.

Mason was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in April. The surgeon at Southampton Orthopedic Institute recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $13,250, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $6,600 short.
my father has been in and out of Southampton Orthopedic Institute since April. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $13,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Mason struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Mason won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $6,600 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $3,250
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $2,100
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $290
• Post-operative medication: $290
• Physiotherapy sessions: $470
• Travel and lodging for the family: $200
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
