Surgery fund for Magnus: laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in Malmö

In July I was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly. My surgeon at Malmö Regional Medical Center recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for October. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $3,650, and after what my insurance will pay, I'm still $2,900 short.
