Luke needs hip replacement surgery at Los Angeles Orthopedic Institute and the family is $1,900 short of the hospital's estimate.

Luke was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in August. The surgeon at Los Angeles Orthopedic Institute recommended hip replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,150, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,900 short.
my son has been in and out of Los Angeles Orthopedic Institute since August. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,150 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Luke struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Luke won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
