Surgery fund for Lanre: spinal decompression surgery in Enugu
A scheduled spinal decompression surgery in October is out of reach without help covering $250 of the cost.

Lanre was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in July. The surgeon at Enugu Community Hospital recommended spinal decompression surgery, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $250 short.
my father has been in and out of Enugu Community Hospital since July. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Lanre struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Lanre won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
