Joseph was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in November. The surgeon at Madina University Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and He is scheduled for January. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,650, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,250 short.
my son has been in and out of Madina University Hospital since November. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,650 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Joseph struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
