Jayson was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in July. The surgeon at Lapu-Lapu University Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,250, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $750 short.
my father has been in and out of Lapu-Lapu University Hospital since July. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jayson struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Jayson won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
