Surgery fund for Janet: ACL reconstruction in Mwanza
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in September is out of reach without help covering $700 of the cost.

Janet was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in June. The surgeon at Mwanza Community Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $700 short.
my mother has been in and out of Mwanza Community Hospital since June. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Janet struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Janet won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
