Surgery fund for Jack: palate reconstruction surgery in Anaheim
After a benign brain tumor, Jack was cleared for palate reconstruction surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Jack was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in March. The surgeon at Anaheim General Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $5,550 short.
my husband has been in and out of Anaheim General Hospital since March. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jack struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Jack won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
