Ivy needs valve repair surgery at Saint Luke Hospital and the family is $1,050 short of the hospital's estimate.

Ivy was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in June. The surgeon at Saint Luke Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,100, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $1,050 short.
my wife has been in and out of Saint Luke Hospital since June. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,100 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ivy struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Ivy won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
