Isabella was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in June. The surgeon at Fort Worth Orthopedic Institute recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,500, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $7,550 short.
my mother has been in and out of Fort Worth Orthopedic Institute since June. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Isabella struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
