Isabella was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in May. The surgeon at Fresno Regional Medical Center recommended gallbladder removal, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $3,550 short.
my wife has been in and out of Fresno Regional Medical Center since May. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Isabella struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Isabella won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
