Surgery fund for Hasan: cataract surgery in Siliguri
A scheduled cataract surgery in October is out of reach without help covering $1,000 of the cost.

In August I was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery. My surgeon at Siliguri General Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for October. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,450, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $1,000 short.
Doctors at Siliguri General Hospital told me endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without cataract surgery. I work as a call-centre agent, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $1,450 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a call-centre agent have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 12 weeks. I'll not be able to stand for more than ten minutes during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
