Haris was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in February. The surgeon at Lahore General Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,700, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $850 short.
my brother has been in and out of Lahore General Hospital since February. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,700 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Haris struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Haris won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
