Surgery fund for Gihan: ACL reconstruction in Negombo

Gihan was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in April. The surgeon at Negombo General Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $700 short.
my father has been in and out of Negombo General Hospital since April. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Gihan struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Gihan won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

• Hospital stay (4 nights): $360
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $115
• Travel and lodging for the family: $80
• Post-operative medication: $40
• Physiotherapy sessions: $105
