Surgery fund for Gabriela: ACL reconstruction in Vigo
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in March is out of reach without help covering $4,700 of the cost.

Gabriela was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in January. The surgeon at Saint Anne Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for March. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,500, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $4,700 short.
my sister has been in and out of Saint Anne Hospital since January. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Gabriela struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Gabriela won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $4,700 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $2,800
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $1,400
• Physiotherapy sessions: $500
