Surgery fund for Frida: knee replacement surgery in Stockholm
After a herniated spinal disc, Frida was cleared for knee replacement surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Frida was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in July. The surgeon at Stockholm Regional Medical Center recommended knee replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $4,600 short.
my mother has been in and out of Stockholm Regional Medical Center since July. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Frida struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Frida won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
