Surgery fund for Étienne: hip replacement surgery in Grenoble
A scheduled hip replacement surgery in June is out of reach without help covering $1,100 of the cost.

Étienne was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in April. The surgeon at Grenoble Community Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,850, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,100 short.
my husband has been in and out of Grenoble Community Hospital since April. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,850 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Étienne struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Étienne won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
