Surgery fund for Elijah: a craniotomy in Austin
A scheduled a craniotomy in November is out of reach without help covering $6,300 of the cost.

Elijah was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in July. The surgeon at Austin Regional Medical Center recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $12,500, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $6,300 short.
my father has been in and out of Austin Regional Medical Center since July. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $12,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Elijah struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Elijah won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
