Surgery fund for Dumisani: a craniotomy in George
Dumisani needs a craniotomy at George General Hospital and the family is $250 short of the hospital's estimate.

Dumisani was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in June. The surgeon at George General Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $310, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $250 short.
my husband has been in and out of George General Hospital since June. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $310 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Dumisani struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Dumisani won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $250 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $100
• Post-operative medication: $60
• Physiotherapy sessions: $90

wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
