Surgery fund for Dipesh: a craniotomy in Kathmandu
Dipesh needs a craniotomy at Kathmandu Regional Medical Center and the family is $300 short of the hospital's estimate.

In May I was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections. My surgeon at Kathmandu Regional Medical Center recommended a craniotomy, and I have been placed on the schedule for September. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $500, and after what the public health scheme will pay, I'm still $300 short.
Doctors at Kathmandu Regional Medical Center told me a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without a craniotomy. I work as a restaurant cook, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $500 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a restaurant cook have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. I'll not be able to work a full shift during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $300 goes:
• Post-operative medication: $25
• Physiotherapy sessions: $120
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $75
• Travel and lodging for the family: $80
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending love. Wishing Dipesh a smooth procedure and a full recovery
Hang in there. Shared this with my family. After 16 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Magelang
Thinking of you and your family, Dipesh. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Coimbatore
Hang in there. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Kathmandu.
