Dilara was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in August. The surgeon at Istanbul University Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,000 short. my daughter has been in and out of Istanbul University Hospital since August. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,000 is more than we can find. While we wait, Dilara struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Dilara won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing. I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section. Where the $1,000 goes: • Post-operative medication: $55 • Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $760 • Physiotherapy sessions: $185 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Hasan

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. post-operative medication comes first ($55) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
