Surgery fund for Dennis: palate reconstruction surgery in Accra
A scheduled palate reconstruction surgery in July is out of reach without help covering $550 of the cost.

Dennis was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in April. The surgeon at Accra University Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $920, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $550 short.
my son has been in and out of Accra University Hospital since April. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $920 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Dennis struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Dennis won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
