Surgery fund for Declan: gallbladder removal in London
Declan needs gallbladder removal at Saint Joseph Hospital and the family is $2,950 short of the hospital's estimate.

Declan was diagnosed with a hernia that has become strangulated in July. The surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,900, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $2,950 short.
my brother has been in and out of Saint Joseph Hospital since July. The doctors say a hernia that has become strangulated will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,900 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Declan struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Declan won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
