Surgery fund for Débora: spinal decompression surgery in Santos
After a herniated spinal disc, Débora was cleared for spinal decompression surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Débora was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in July. The surgeon at Santos Regional Medical Center recommended spinal decompression surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,750, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $2,250 short.
my mother has been in and out of Santos Regional Medical Center since July. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Débora struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Débora won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
