Cooper was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in March. The surgeon at Hamilton University Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $6,200 short.
my brother has been in and out of Hamilton University Hospital since March. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Cooper struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Cooper won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.

Surgeon and anesthesia fees is $1,750 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
