Clinton was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in December. The surgeon at Richards Bay Regional Medical Center recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for February. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $600 short.
my husband has been in and out of Richards Bay Regional Medical Center since December. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Clinton struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Clinton won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
