A scheduled knee replacement surgery in September is out of reach without help covering $550 of the cost.

Chitra was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in June. The surgeon at Jaipur Community Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,100, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $550 short.
my sister has been in and out of Jaipur Community Hospital since June. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,100 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Chitra struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Chitra won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
