Surgery fund for Chidi: valve repair surgery in Enugu

In August I was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect. My surgeon at Enugu University Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $640, and after what the public health scheme will pay, I'm still $450 short.
