Surgery fund for Chidi: a craniotomy in Ogbomosho
A scheduled a craniotomy in August is out of reach without help covering $550 of the cost.

In May I was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery. My surgeon at Ogbomosho Orthopedic Institute recommended a craniotomy, and I have been placed on the schedule for August. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $920, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $550 short.
Doctors at Ogbomosho Orthopedic Institute told me endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without a craniotomy. I work as a market vendor, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $920 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a market vendor have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. I'll not be able to look after the children alone during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $550 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $40
• Physiotherapy sessions: $100
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $410
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Ogbomosho
Thank you. If you're in Ogbomosho I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks, that means a lot.
Sending love, Chidi. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Quezon City
