Surgery fund for Basma: laparoscopic cyst removal in Alexandria
A scheduled laparoscopic cyst removal in December is out of reach without help covering $1,050 of the cost.

Basma was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in September. The surgeon at Saint Anne Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and She is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,500, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,050 short.
my mother has been in and out of Saint Anne Hospital since September. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Basma struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Basma won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
