Surgery fund for Ayaan: laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in Mumbai
A scheduled laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in May is out of reach without help covering $500 of the cost.

Ayaan was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in February. The surgeon at Saint Luke Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and He is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,000, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $500 short.
my husband has been in and out of Saint Luke Hospital since February. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ayaan struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Ayaan won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $40
• Travel and lodging for the family: $50
