Armando was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in September. The surgeon at Málaga University Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,750, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $4,100 short.
my father has been in and out of Málaga University Hospital since September. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Armando struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Armando won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
