The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,100 short. my father has been in and out of Nagpur General Hospital since April. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find. While we wait, Anil struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy.
